Madhubala nimbly wandered inside her night room at the Safari Park, Karachi in the midst of cheers and whistles. Her tail swung beginning with one side then onto the following — an indication of a nice elephant. A dining experience expected close by, with cucumbers, carrots, bananas, apples and watermelons on the menu. She swallowed each and every piece of it down rapidly. The 17-year-old African elephant, who has been living in withdrawal for over a year after her sidekick through correspondence Noor Jehan passed on, came to the titles on Tuesday. She is at this point the nation's second, and last, elephant to be liberated from zoo confinement. The first was Islamabad's Kavaan, who was moved to a safe space in Cambodia in 2020. "This is weighty. It is a critical day for Madhubala, us and Pakistan," Dr Amir Khalil, top of the Four Paws pack supervising and driving the activity, told Dawn.com. "She knows next to nothing about what looks for her at the Safari Park … there will be a family get-together following 15 years."
