AT ADELAIDE: Pakistan has decided to bowl first after winning the toss at Adelaide Oval on Friday for the second ODI of the three-match series against Australia.

Chasing a modest target of 204 runs set by Pakistan, Australia had to fight their way against the Pakistani bowling unit to take a 1-0 lead in the three-match ODI series.

The hosts had a shaky start to their innings as their openers Jake Fraser-McGurk and Matthew Short were dismissed within four overs with only 28 runs on the board.

However, a solid partnership of 85 runs between Steve Smith and Josh Inglis put Australia in a strong position.
