WhatsApp, which is owned by Meta, announced a new feature for iOS called the message draft feature and the feature will be available to use in the coming weeks.
The new feature helps users keep track of messages they started writing but did not finish and making it easier to go back and complete them later reported by WABetaInfo.
Now users can save time because they no longer need to search through chats to find unsent messages. These unfinished messages will be marked as "Draft" in the chat list.
With the Draft label users can see the text of an incomplete message directly in the chat list. This helps them remember what they were writing without opening the chat.
This feature is especially useful for people who get interrupted or distracted while typing. It reduces the chance of forgetting to send a message.
Before, users had to check each chat to see if they had unsent messages. Now with the "Draft" label it’s easy to see which chats have unfinished messages.
This small update helps users stay organised and makes sure important and unsent messages are less likely to be forgotten.
